. . . that they are apparently retiring Molly's Miss Victory costume!!! Sorry if this is like old news to everyone, but I was chatting with a saleslady about Molly's Route 66 outfit (OT: found out that they shipped all of them back to Wisconsin even though they had like 20 left--very strange) and I asked her if they had any of the Miss Victory costumes, because none of them were out on the floor. She said that she would have to check because she had very limited inventory and said that she heard that they were going to retire it soon. Luckily, she found one for me, but she said they only had a few left.

Anyway, so if you want the outfit, I might just get it just in case what the saleslady said was true.

Also, does anyone know if CS still has any of Molly's Route 66 outfit? I guess that's the only place you can get them now since the stores had to ship them back to Wisconsin (at least all the outfits from NY). Thanks!

The Oshkosh Outlet had MANY upon MANY of Molly's Route 66 outfits...and the had MANY of the Route 66 accessories. (this was as of last Saturday)

I thought the same thing myself . . . esp. since the outfit seems kinda central to her "changes for molly" story! The saleslady wasn't sure why there were doing that either, but she said it's usually one of two things: they a) are going to revamp it and "re-release" it, or b) it has lagging sales and it will be replaced with something. I hope it's not true about her outfit, but the saleslady seemed pretty certain.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Actaully it soudns like to me they are retiring it BECAUSE of the movie. Probably to redesign it. Molly is getting a ton of retirements right now. I don't think they'd be doing that if they didn't plan to replace them with something else.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't know-last summer there were rumors that Felicity's chocolate set, party treats and tea set would be retired after they showed up at the Oshkosh warehouse sale. As we know now, they were retired and a new set made to replace them. Maybe that is what will happen with Molly-they will just redo some of her items. This is sort of an unrelated question, but would someone who lives nearer (I'm three and a half hours away) the Oshkosh outlet be willing to pick up Molly's Rte 66 outfit and accessories? (I don't have Molly yet, but am considering buying her this fall, and sure would like to have this outfit--I missed the Victory Garden dress, which is super cute.) I would of course send payment ahead of time. If you'd be willing to do so, please PM me. I'd be ETERNALLY grateful!
